When I heard that they were breaking up my heart just about sank. Baumer just seeps talent and greatness from its being. They definitely had what it takes to make it big... so much more substance and passion than most decent bands that make it. I'm definitely going to try my best to go to their show. If you think Baumer is passionate, you should see their fans at a live show.
I wish them the best of luck, though!

great dudes, great band. another shoulda-been. i can understand why they didn't make it — it's insanely hard to do it, and the odds against you are overwhelming — but that doesn't mean it doesn't suck when talented folks from our town don't make it.

Probably some of the nicest, most talented people I have ever met. I remember when I heard there very first demo the summer before I went to high school, and not believing these people were actually from Columbia. I also remember going to their shows when there was like 30 people, and then a month later going to one that was sold out. Easily my favorite local band ever, great music and great people.

Baumer has been my favorite band for a while now and they're some of the nicest people I've ever met. Go to this show and buy some merch from them to help them out... and to mourn the loss of what should have been one of the biggest bands in the world.

I first met our singer, Jayna, at a Baumer concert during my freshmen year. Without that show, our band may not have even come to fruition, but it was that mutual love for their electronics, pop sensibility and good ol' fashioned rock and roll that brought us together to play.
