Thumpin, Squeezin, Smellin

I would be abandoning my roots were I not to point out the Cravin’ Melon tour dates coming up.

A couple of reasons I would feel bad.

A) Cravin’ Melon at Greer Family Festival in the early 90′s was one of the first concerts I can ever remember going to.

B) Lead singer Doug Jones’ parents were my youth Sunday School teachers.  Second grade I think.

C) I went on a trip to Europe in 8th grade and was so obsessed with Cravin’ Melon that it is the only CD that I brought.  I was 14 and “Come a Day” was my favorite song.

D)  I still have a Squeeze Me shirt in my closet.  It is an ugly brown and I can only remember wearing it once.  I had a Thumpin, Squeezin, Smellin shirt but I wore that one out.
