We continue to get a kick out of people saying that our founding editor David Stringer is paid by bands and venues to write stories about them, and the countless rumors that he sleeps with band leaders in the SC music scene.

To this date we only have two stalker sites that throw out these terrible rumors about us.  This one claims to have pictures of me doing crazy things (and they do) and this one has me partying with members of a couple of popular local bands.  But there is no money trail…

Unlike other people, I admit it.  Bands do pay me to write stories about them and if I hook up with an indie frontwoman I will write a story about them.

Just wait til you hear what the internship involves…
