Due to an large amount of spontaneous disappointments, a talented country music amateur decides to pursue a music career with a ragtag group of redneck friends and family.

I’m jumping the gun in hopes of a comeback.

Shuffle Magazine out of Charlotte does a really good job covering bands throughout the Carolinas so check them out if you haven’t already.  They did a feature article on Death Becomes Even The Maiden a little while back and do a good job on keeping up with the band.  They posted this a little while back and I meant to repost it, but I got side tracked and just now remembered to get to it.

As a special, wintertime treat, Columbia, S.C.’s Death Becomes Even The Maiden unveiled an exclusive new track, “Closing In” via the band’s Web site. Some lucky fans caught first wind of the download from a handbill distributed at the band’s Dec. 13 show at The Whig in Columbia. Others, including Shuffle, saw the following post in the band’s Twitter feed.
